PTSA wants to support students and their families as they begin the new adventure of high school. In our National PTA School of Excellence goals, we committed to serving as the parent voice with school administration in gathering resources and advocating for programs and information that support the student and their family as they prepare for high school.
We hope this website provides quick access to important information related to high school preparation. Based on our school district pipelines, PTSA will focus information on Westview High School and Mt. Carmel High School.

Westview High School
Course Request Resources : Counselors will present course request information to 8th grade students at MVMS on March 7. In preparation for selecting courses for 9th grade, students should review the following information:
- Blank copy of the 4-year Plan
- List of courses offered for the 2023-2024 school year
- Instructions on how to register for classes online via Synergy/StudentVue.
The Course Request window will be open from March 7th at 8:00 am to March 21st at 4:00pm.
8th grade Open House: Optional Family Appointments Counselors will be offering virtual family appointments for questions about course selection from March 8 – 17, 2023. To make an appointment, please select the link based on your student’s last name:
